The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a student-led organization responsible for planning, hosting and sponsoring a wide variety of cultural, entertainment, and social issue events during the academic year. Their goal is to make each event educational, fun and thought-provoking while encouraging communication and collaboration between students, staff, faculty and the local community.

Elaine Paris

Elaine Paris is the Student Activities Board’s Chair. She is a senior studying business administration with a minor in sustainability. She loves being able to create exciting events to cultivate community on UWT’s campus. She is looking forward to all of SAB’s events, especially SAB's Fall and Spring Markets. Riley Gross

Riley Gross is a Student Activites Coordinator and a senior in the Communications major, with a minor in Global Engagement. He has an Associates in Arts from Olympic College. His favorite SAB is HuskyCon, and his goal is to connect campus events to student interests. He is excited to foster campus connection at UWT through SAB events! Merary Flores

Merary is a Business Marketing major with a minor in Data Analytics. She’s excited to be part of SAB as an Event Coordinator for 2026–27! With a bubbly personality, a creative mind, and a friendly outgoing nature, she's excited to meet new people, build friendships, and create the space to bring people together by creating memorable experiences that make UWT feel like home. Outside of SAB, Merary is involved in the Skincare Club and Marketing Society and enjoys going to the gym, she enjoys spontaneous hangouts with friends, and spending time with loved ones. She’s excited to bring fun and fresh ideas to campus this year! Always happy to meet new faces, she encourages you to stop by and say hi!

Sage Obiero

Sage Obiero is a criminal justice major with an interest in law school. She’s happy to be a part of SAB as an event coordinator because it is a fun way to get involved with the UWT community and create spaces and activities that people enjoy. Raul Salinas is a senior majoring in Electrical Engineering. He’s excited to be a part of SAB as an Event Coordinator and help create fun and memorable experiences for the UWT community.
