Are you new to UW Tacoma?
Looking for a way to get involved?
Are you a returning student wanting to connect more to campus?
Make sure to check out Welcome Days at the
beginning of each new quarter!
Welcome Days offers students a variety of ways to meet new people, learn about UW Tacoma, and get immersed into UW Tacoma and Husky culture. This quarter is unique and unprecedented, with classes only being offered remotely in order to address the ever-evolving concerns with COVID-19. To ensure the safety and health of our students and community, Welcome Days (as well as many other in-person activities) have had to be either cancelled or reimagined.
That being said, Welcome Days is still here, helping you to discover resources and make connections on campus. Especially now with most of our interactions being virtual, we recognize the importance of connection! It might be different from what we once imagined, but we will continue to innovate new ways for you to learn about campus. UW Tacoma is a place where you will learn how to encounter, analyze, and response to some of the world's greatest challenges. Huskies preserve and persist even in difficult times. No better place to start than right here.
To new Huskies, welcome to UW Tacoma! To returning Huskies, welcome back!
