Dean Merchant ranks 11th most impactful advertising researcher in the world

A recent study conducted by Ford, Bezbaruah et al., and published in the Journal of Business Research ranks Professor Merchant as the 11th most impactful advertising researcher based on citations.

He was ranked 25thin the world based on number of articles published. This bibliometric study examined papers published in 16 journals (across advertising, marketing, interdisciplinary, journalism & communication, and business disciplines) over the time period of 2008-2019.

A total of 1,532 articles were published on advertising topics in the said time period by a total of 3,064 authors (the full paper can be accessed at https://authors.elsevier.com/a/1dTnUXj-jYFPw)
