The Student Activities Board (SAB) is a student-led organization responsible for planning, hosting and sponsoring a wide variety of cultural, entertainment, and social issue events during the academic year. Their goal is to make each event educational, fun and thought-provoking while encouraging communication and collaboration between students, staff, faculty and the local community.

The SAB Chair serves as a peer mentor and leader for the Student Activities Board. The Chair oversee the daily functions of the SAB as a whole and serve on various campus committees.

An SAB Event Coordinators are responsible for developing events and activities focusing on intersections of identities & cultures, showing casing artists from and around campus, and programming that encourages UW Tacoma students to explore and engage within their UWT community and the greater Tacoma and South Puget Sound Community.
