The college-level courses listed below have been approved to meet the admission and prerequisite requirements for the Social Welfare program. Select Advanced Placement (AP) credit earned in high school may satisfy this requirement. Some restrictions may apply. Contact us for more information: email@example.com.
The institutions listed on the grid below are schools that BASW applicants transfer from most frequently. However, if your school does not appear on the list, that does not mean that we are unable to accept their courses. Many of the courses below are commonly shared among Washington State community and technical colleges and are denoted with a “&” behind the course prefix. Therefore, if you have taken a ‘common course numbered’ class that appears below, from a Washington State community or technical college that is not listed on the grid, it will satisfy a BASW prerequisite. For example, SOC& 101 from Pierce College is equivalent to SOC& 101 from Edmonds Community College.
Note: BASW prerequisites must be completed with a grade of 2.0 (C) or better.
