The School of Social Work and Criminal Justice (SSWCJ) Student Advisory Council (SAC) was formed in January 2021 with representatives from each of our School's programs: CJ in-person, CJ on-line, BASW, and MSW (3-year, CWTAP, and Advanced Standing). The following group of students are among those identified by faculty and staff members and are individuals who represent the range of programs and diverse perspectives within our larger School.

The primary goal of the Council is to provide a voice for students to share their perceptions and ideas with the Dean and other members of the School's leadership teams.
During the remainder of the 2020-21 academic year, the Council will develop its bylaws, including its charge and procedures for student membership going forward. This will include ways for student self-nominations as well as nominations from others. This work is being done in collaboration with the School's Dean, Dr. Keva Miller.
